Book of Mormon Mutual Activity Suggestions

We hope you will plan some Mutual activities that will teach about the Book of Mormon. And if you have any ideas you would like to share, please comment on this post and we will add them to the list!! Here are the suggestions we have so far:

1. Study and discuss President Eyring's talk in the May 2008 New Era called "Why the Book of Mormon?" Find that article here.

2. Choose a favorite scripture from the Book of Mormon and describe why you like it

3. Making costumes (your ward should have a helper called to help you do that soon!).

4. Book of Mormon scavenger hunt

5. Discuss the Book of Mormon reading and challenge for one week

6. Present a lesson in Family Home Evening on a Book of Mormon story

7. Have a Sunday lesson in YM/YW on the Book of Mormon

8. Pick a hero from the Book of Mormon (for example: Captain Moroni) and discuss

9. Do baptisms for the dead

10. Visualize the lands of the Book of Mormon by drawing a map

11. Make a movie teaser for The Journey

12. Book of Mormon Jeopardy

13. Book of Mormon scripture chase

14. Read/discuss Chapter 5 in Preach My Gospel
